The NSF-funded Science Communication Research Network (SCERN), led by Liz, had its first in-person working conference. Science education and science communication researchers and practitioners gathered to chart the path forward for science communication education research aimed at equipping undergraduates with the skills to communicate effectively about science within their communities.
