Liz was part of the plenary panel of speakers at the 2021 International society for studying Science and Belief in Society (INSBS) and she presented her work on using religious cultural competence to teach important biology topics that are controversial among students as a way to create a more inclusive and diverse scientific community.
Liz presented research on Religious Cultural Competence in Evolution Education (ReCCEE) to a workshop of educators for the American Association of Physical Anthropologists (AAPA).
