Liz e-visited the Rochester Institute of Technology and gave a seminar in the School of Life Sciences on using Religious Cultural Competence in Evolution Education (ReCCEE)!
SPS lab undergraduate researcher Julie Roberts won first place at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting poster competition in the science and society section. She presented the work she did with Liz and Sara Brownell on perceptions of evolution among Muslim biology students. Julie will receive a cash prize and her name will appear in Science magazine!
Liz was interviewed by AAAS's program on Dialogue on Science Ethics and Religion (DoSER) as part of their series highlighting scientists working on religious issues.
