The SPS Lab presents at NABT and Kate and Donye win poster awards!

Several members of the SPS Lab traveled to Anaheim for NABT's 2024 professional development conference to share the lab's work. Liz presented a poster on the perceived conflict between religion and evolution in non-religious students, Erin presented a poster on the development of an instrument to measure students' science communication skills, Rahmi presented a poster on the impacts of instructor identity on students' perceived conflict between religion and evolution, Kate presented a poster on the impacts of science communication instruction on undergraduate students' science communication, Donye presented a poster on the impact of identity on undergraduate students' science communication, Khadijah presented a poster on Muslim biology students' perceptions of evolution and evolution education in the United States, and J presented a poster on Christian students' beliefs about climate change and science communication.

Kate won first place in the graduate student poster competition and Donye won second place in the undergraduate student poster competition! Amazing job!
